Making a Difference Through Conservation – The European Outdoor Industry in Action
The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) is a not-for-profit organisation established to combine the collective efforts of companies working in the European outdoor industry to raise funds for the protection, conservation, and restoration of threatened wild landscapes and habitats.
With over 160 member companies, the organisation is involved in 125 conservation projects worldwide, which include: trail renovations, forest restoration, habitat improvements for elephants, brown bears, river dolphins, raptors, and falcons, and has cleaned up tonnes of litter from mountains and seas. As awareness of climate change and the damage humans are causing to the environment grows, so too does the importance of EOCA’s work.
